The scale of pay for the Specialist Security Officer position in MMGS-II is ₹ 64820-2340(1)-67160-2680(10)-93960, along with other allowances and perquisites as applicable. This scale is subject to amendments as per Bank of India Officers' Service Regulations, 1979.
Bank of India Specialist Security Officer Qualification 2025
Specialist Security Officer Eligibility: Applicants must have a Graduate degree from a recognized university or equivalent and a certification in a computer course for a minimum of three months OR Information Technology or a related subject at graduation level or afterwards. Additionally, candidates must meet one of the following experience criteria as on 01.01.2025:
- An Officer with a minimum of 5 years of Commissioned Service in the Army/Navy/Air Force, OR
- A Police Officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police with a minimum of 5 years of service, OR
- An Officer of equivalent rank to Assistant Commandant with a minimum of 5 years of service in Paramilitary Forces.
Note: Emergency Commissioned Officers/Short Service Commissioned Officers must have completed at least 5 years of continuous military service and should have been released on completion of assignment (or within one year of completion) under specific conditions.
