Kerala Police Constable IRB Age Limit 2024
The age limit for this position is 18-26 years. Candidates born between 02.01.1998 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Relaxations apply as follows:

Police Constable IRB Eligibility Details
Educational Qualification: Applicants must have a Pass in SSLC or its equivalent. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes who have failed SSLC will also be considered if there are insufficient qualified candidates in their category.

- Full field of vision is required for both eyes. Candidates with color blindness, squint, or morbid conditions of the eyes or lids are disqualified.

- Flat foot
- Varicose veins
- Bow legs
- Deformed limbs
- Irregular and protruding teeth
- Defective speech or hearing
- Medical Certificate: Candidates must produce a medical certificate from a Medical Officer not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon, certifying the physical fitness and visual standards.
Endurance Test
3 km run in 13 minutes (Qualifying in nature).
Physical Test (PET)
Candidates must qualify in at least 5 out of 8 events listed below:
- 100 meters race: 14 seconds
- High Jump: 132.20 cm
- Long Jump: 457.20 cm
- Putting the shot (7.264 kg): 609.60 cm
- Throwing the cricket ball: 6096 cm
- Rope climbing (using hands): 365.80 cm
- Pull-ups/Chinning: 8 times
- 1500 meters run: 5 minutes 44 seconds
Note:
- Candidates failing in physical measurement will not proceed further.
- Those qualifying in PET will undergo medical tests.
Selection Process
- Endurance Test: 3 km road run to be completed in 13 minutes.
- Written/OMR Test: Candidates who qualify the endurance test will undergo a written test.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates must qualify in at least 5 out of 8 events (e.g., 100m race, high jump, long jump, etc.).
- Medical Examination: Candidates who qualify PET will undergo a medical examination.
