NIA Ministerial Staff Age Limit 2024
The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation for all positions has been clearly specified in the official notification:
- Maximum Age: 56 years
- Age Determination Date: As on closing date of receipt of applications
Age Limit Details for Different Posts:
1. Assistant Position:
- Maximum age limit: 56 years as per Note 3 of eligibility criteria
- Age will be calculated as on the closing date of applications
2. Stenographer Grade-I:
- Maximum age limit: 56 years as mentioned in Note 3
- Age will be counted as on the last date of application receipt
3. Upper Division Clerk (UDC):
- Maximum age limit: Cannot exceed 56 years on closing date

4. Stenographer Grade-II:

5. Lower Division Clerk (LDC):
- Maximum age: Should not exceed 56 years

NIA Ministerial Staff Salary Details 2024
The scale of pay for different positions:
- Assistant & Stenographer Grade-I: Pay Matrix Level-6 (Rs 35,400 - 1,12,400)
- UDC & Stenographer Grade-II: Pay Matrix Level-4 (Rs 25,500 - 81,100)
- LDC: Pay Matrix Level-2 (Rs 19,900 - 63,200)
- Additional Benefits: DA, HRA, TPT & other allowances as per Central Government orders
NIA Ministerial Staff Eligibility Details
Assistant Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree from recognized university
- Must have passed computer proficiency test
- Either holding analogous posts OR 6 years service in Level-5
Stenographer Grade-I Qualification:
- Graduate Degree from recognized university
- Computer proficiency
- Skill test requirements: - Stenography speed: 10 minutes @ 100 words per minute - Transcription time: 40 minutes (English), 55 minutes (Hindi)
UDC Qualification:
- 12th class pass from recognized Board
- 8 years service in Level-2 position
