O.N.V Literary Award Winners 2017 To 2021
ONV is an award given by the ONV Cultural Academy since 2017 in memory of the poet ONV Kurup. This is a national award given to writers from all over India for their comprehensive contributions to literature. Until 2020, only Malayalam language writers received the award. Although it was announced that the 2021 award would be given to Tamil poet, lyricist and novelist Vairamuthu, Me Too protest the award and refused to accept it. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh, a citation and a sculpture.
