Kerala PSC has introduced a 10% reservation for economically backward non-reserved sections. Kerala PSC released the information on November 5.
10% reservation for financially backward non-reserved sections eligible as per Government Order G.O(P)No.14/2020P&ARD dated 23.10.2020. Procurement is applicable to posts as per the notifications dated 23.10.2020 dated and issued thereafter.
How to apply For Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)?
Eligible candidates should follow the following instructions to avail EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) benefit.
- Login to the profile
- Click on the EWS - Economically Weaker Sections button on the home screen.
- Do You Belong To Economically Weaker Section? Select 'YES' for the question.
- If the applications have been submitted as per the existing and subsequent notifications dated 23.10.2020 then the said applications should be examined by the candidate himself and the EWS Claim should be confirmed.
- Documents obeying government order should be submitted when it is demanded by the commissioner.
